The effects of climate change have become evident in the world, so it is important to raise awareness and implement real measures that would allow us to gradually change environmentally harmful fuel using solutions. We have to look back not only at individual consumption, but also at corporate responsibility.
Therefore, last year, Delamode Baltics started using alternative fuels from renewable sources. During the first 3 months, CO2 emissions were reduced by 16 tons* using petroleum-free diesel.
Going even further, Delamode Baltics, with support and opportunity provided by the EU received 2,802.31 euros from the joint project “Installation of private electric car charging points” after submitting an application to the Lithuanian Energy Agency in accordance with the published invitation “Installation of private electric car charging access points for legal entities at workplaces”, encouraged the installation of 2 electric car charging stations with 4 accesses.
So, not only do we implement more environmentally friendly solutions when transporting with our trucks, we also encourage our team to use electric cars for personal or work needs. In the future, Delamode Baltics plans to add electric trucks to the company’s fleet too.
Delamode Baltics is one of the TOP-100 largest Lithuanian transport and logistics companies with more than 480 employees. The company manages a fleet of 300 trucks that serve different European countries on the routes established by the company. The professional team of Delamode Baltics takes care of thousands of customers around the world and ensures the smooth operation of their supply chain.
